Overview
Hyde is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band L'Arc~en~Ciel, as well as the frontman of Vamps. Hyde has also pursued a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums and singles.
Biography
In 1994, he made his major label debut as L'Arc~en~Ciel.
Since 2001, he has also been active as a solo artist under the name "HYDE".
In 2003 and 2004, he also appeared as an actor in the films "MOONCHILD" and "Moon Under the Moon".
In 2008, he formed the rock unit "VAMPS" with guitarist K.A.Z. of Oblivion Dust.
Currently, he is actively involved in both L'Arc~en~Ciel, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and his solo activities.

With a deep voice, he is skilled at expressing himself emotionally as if he were performing by changing himself into various colors to suit the subject, and his flexibility and transparency are characteristic of his music.
In terms of composition, his music has a somewhat mysterious and exotic atmosphere and a lot of royal rock.
Appearance
His Southeast Asian-chic good looks are, of course, also a feature of his personality. When complimented on her appearance in an interview, she once said that her face is very similar to that of her parents, whom she adores, and in that sense she is proud of it.
Her atmosphere is quite changeable depending on fashion, hair, and makeup.
Her hair color and hairstyle have undergone tremendous changes, and there are concerns about her scalp, but she seems to have very strong skin and hair, which makes her look very young. The secret to her youthfulness, according to her, is Vaseline, which has a water retention effect, and she says that she always pays attention to the shine of her skin.
Even now, at over 40 years of age, he still displays on stage a threefold character, being gender-, age-, and nationality-neutral. He also enjoys cosplay, and his appearance as Chrollo Lucilfer, a character modeled after himself, was a big hit with anime fans.
Although his height had been a topic of debate, he announced in his book that he is 161 cm (he does not consider it a complex at the moment). He also responded with scathing comments to those in the online community who had been making fun of him.
