Overview
Yoshihiro Togashi (冨樫 義博, Togashi Yoshihiro) is a manga artist born on April 27, 1966 in Yamagata Prefecture.
At university, he was enrolled in the education department. He wanted to become an art teacher, but he decided that he was not suited for the job due to his stage fright, so he decided to become a manga artist who does not have to face his students directly.
He is an exceptional manga artist who has created two of the most popular hits in the world of boys' manga, YuYu Hakusho and HUNTER X HUNTER.
His wife is Naoko Takeuchi, a manga artist known for the Sailor Moon manga, whom he married in 2005. The wedding ceremony was officiated jointly by Nozomi Sasaki and Kotono Mitsuishi, the voice actors of their respective works. ⇒ Togashi Couple
His younger brother is Hideaki Togashi, also a manga artist. Although their interaction is not often mentioned, it is confirmed that Yoshihiro commented that his brother helped him with the backgrounds, and that Hideaki participated in his book.
