Characters

Jinta Yadomi (宿海仁太) / Jintan (CV:Irino Miyuu)

平常心

The Main Protagonist of the story。He used to be the de-facto leader of his own group "Super Peace Busters". However, due to Menma's (Meiko Honma) death, he became reclusive and isolated since then, and eventually the group drifted apart. He is also a Hikkikomori, and refused to go to school due to reasons above.

He still believes that Menma is not a ghost, but rather a symptom of his stress. But however, the reunion slowly changed him for the better...

Meiko Honma (本間芽衣子) / Menma (CV:Kayano Ai)

めんま

The primary female protagonist of the series. A short lived, naive and innocent Japanese girl with a mixed blood (presumbably Russian). She greatly values the childhood memories and friendship she once shared with the others, and has very few memories other than recollections of her friends. Treated as a mascot-ish person of the group, she is also loved by her groupmates, however her death caused the group to be drifted apart, apparently leaving a scar at their hearts.

She appeared as a grown girl in front of Jinta one day, and asked Jinta to fulfill a wish for her, but as of now her true wish remained unknown as she does not remember it herself.

Naruko Anjou (安城鳴子) / Anaru (CV:Haruka Tomatsu)

あなる

An ex-member of Super Peace Busters, and also Jinta's classmate, on the same school with him. Used to be a meganekko when she was young, she turned into a girl with a liking for gal fashion.

She holds a certain degree of jealousy towards Menma, although she also admires her, creating a rather complex impression for her. She also dislikes being called with her nickname Anaru.

Atsumu Matsuyuki (松雪集) / Yukiatsu (CV:Takahiro Sakurai)

ゆきあつ

An ex-member of Super Peace Busters group, now an elite school student. Atsumu is attractive, popular, smart and athletic, but holds a condescending and hateful attitude towards Jinta. He becomes agitated when Meiko is mentioned and tries to hide that he is still distraught over her death.

Chiriko Tsurumi (鶴見知利子) / Tsuruko (CV:Saori Hayami)

つるこ

Another ex-member of the Super Peace Busters group, now goes to the same school with Yukiatsu. Chiriko has an extremely serious and logical personality, looking down on Naruko when they meet. She and Atsumu were the only two that remained close since childhood until present time. They attend the same elite high school, boards the same train, and though they are almost always seen together, they are however not dating.

She is very good at drawing and art, as she is shown drawing Menma and even Yukiatsu in Menma's clothing while on class.

Tetsudou Hisakawa (久川鉄道) / Poppo (CV:Takayuki Kondou)

ぽっぽ

Also an ex-member of Super Peace Busters group, now a world traveler who earns money by taking various part-time jobs, and lives in the old secret base when not abroad.

Used to be a small and thin during childhood, now a tough, bulky teen. Though not attending school, he is far more knowledgable about the world compared to the rest of the group.
