Overview

As the series celebrates its 15th anniversary, Tales of Xillia was released on on 8 September 2011 for the Playstation 3. The game marks the first Tales game to have a story featuring two main characters which both have different game openings and perspective in the story.

Tales of Xillia also includes both Kosuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata as character designers and animation cutscene is done by ufotable.

Story

In Liese Maxia, humans have their wishes granted by spirits and in exchange the spirits are protected by these wishes, creating a strong coexistence between them. Overseeing both of them is Maxwell, the Master of Spirits, ensuring that no evil will ever threaten this world.

Should this evil arise, will it be from the hearts of men?
