Overview
Rosa (known as Mei in Japanese) is the default name of your trainer in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. In-game, her name will be revealed by going through the Battle Subway as the male character, in which she will join you in a tag battle.
Not to be confused with May, the female protagonist of RSE, whose English name shares its pronunciation with Rosa's Japanese name.
Prior to the game's release, her name was once mistakenly written as Girl (Boy) (女の子(おとこのこ)) on the official website.
Appearance
Rosa has brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a cycling hat and has her hair tied into two large buns. She wears an azure and white sweater with a PokéBall in the chest area, and wears frilly flared yellow shorts. Mei wears opaque black leggings, pink socks, and azure and white shoes with yellow laces. She carries a large handbag.
Due to her hairstyle, fans have related her two large buns to things like buns and shiitake mushrooms.
When You Search...
Make sure you use "メイ(トレーナー)" and set your results to "Exact match." This ensures the results will be for this character from BW2.
As many other game or anime characters have "Mei" or "May" as their name, searching without the above method may return other characters and other unexpected results (e.g. Meido, Meikingu Wanteddo, etc.).
