Overview
Koishi Komeiji (古明地 こいし, Komeiji Koishi) is the sister of Satori Komeiji and the extra boss of Subterranean Animism.
Like her sister, she is a youkai know as Satori, and has the ability to read the minds of others. However, she knew that people around her hated her because of her ability, so she closed her third eye (3rd eye), which controls mind-reading, to seal off her ability, and at the same time, she closed her own mind and became emotionless.
However, since one of her titles is Unintentionally Closed-Hearted Satori, it may be that she only wanted to close her ability and closed it at the same time, but did not intend to close her mind itself.
According to her, looking into people's minds will only depress you, nothing good will come out of it.
And by closing her third eye, instead of the ability to read minds, she gained the ability of Manipulation of the Unconscious Mind. Koishi, who is now able to act unconsciously thanks to this ability, has become a youkai who simply wanders from place to place, repeating her daily life without dreams or hopes.
Her older sister Satori is also worried because she cannot read Koishi's closed mind and does not seem to be able to grasp where she is and what she is doing all the time.
There, her sister Satori gave her a pet to play with, and thanks to that, Koishi seems to have changed little by little, and her third eye seems to have loosened up.
When she was chosen to appear in Hopeless Masquerade, she became the talk of the town, partly because of the sadness in the character introduction on the official website. In the commercial version, she is so strongly involved in the story that it is no exaggeration to say that she is the shadowy protagonist, and her popularity is growing not only in the story but also in the real world.
In the Koishi ending of Urban Legend in Limbo, for the first time, the conversation scene between the Komyoji sisters was depicted. The conversation between the sisters in the official work took place about seven years after their first appearance.
It is also revealed that Satori calls Koishi with the second-person pronoun anata (あんた).
