Overview
Itai-san (イタいさん, Itai-san) is a self proclaimed 10,000 but really is 14 years old. Her name comes from the word itai (イタい, itai), when written in mixed kana is a form of slang meaning cringy, which can be describe as something that is chuunibyou-like.
With a case of being a chuunibyou, and her childish delusiveness, she is far graver than the age would imply.
At Megaku, she is a central figure in the group of junior high school maids and has a wide network of contacts because of her involvement with many characters.
Many derivative characters have been created, such as Uzai-san, Symmetry-san, Kitsui-san, Itarii-san, and others.
Appearance
Her clothes, her looks and everything about her is the way it is. Some say that her silver hair is because her grandmother is German, while others say it is actually a wig. The reason why she has red and blue eyes is because she uses colored contacts.
Personality
She calls her master as lord (主殿, actual reading varies) in the early days and adores him, but she also has a troubled side: she unearths his grimoire, causing troubling aspects. Despite this she has many friends.
Her housekeeping skills are in training and her master Kakkou is better than her, but she is good at crafts such as making replica weapons and decorating them. She is still more developed and capable than he is.
She is often treated as the younger sister or daughter to Kakkou.
She basically goes anywhere to play (and act aggressively), and her people-pleasing personality allows her to get along with anyone, except for her behavior when using the grimoire, which leads to many crossovers with other characters.
When multiple Nijiura stories overlap, she is often the protagonist or narrator, a tendency similar to Yamada-san.
In Nijiura Town, a place with people from ordinary humans to gods, demons, monsters, robots, and even Toshiakis and Kakkous roam freely, incidents and strange happenings to her liking are common, but when she is actually there, she often faints and does not remember them or thinks she is dreaming, showing that she actually knows what she is doing and her limitations.
She was grimoire buddies with 98-tan, and Fancy-san stalked her as a soulmate from a previous life, but these two don't appear much these days, probably because she has lots of other friends these days.
